The surgery is open between 08:00 – 18:30 every day.
At the current time, due to the Covid-19 pandemic we have changed our appointment structure.
Patients are asked to call at 8am or 2pm each day if they would like to book a telephone appointment with a doctor or highly trained Advanced Nurse Practitioner. The clinician will then call the patient back the same day. If they decide they need to be seen we have special procedures for seeing patients at the practice.
We hope to go back to seeing most people face to face as soon as possible but have also listened to your feedback that some people prefer the convenience of a telephone consultation.
Please can we remind you that when we close on a Bank Holiday (New Year's Day, Easter, May Bank Holidays, August Bank Holiday and Christmas Day/Boxing Day and you need medical attention, you should telephone the practice when you will be connected to the Out Of Hours Service. Remember to order your repeat prescription in good time.
Please may we remind you that Abbey Pharmacy closes at 13:00 on Thursdays.
Telephone lines close at 1830 Monday-Friday
If you need urgent treatment, please telephone 111 where you will be given the opportunity to speak to someone out of hours.
Details of your problem will be taken and a nurse or doctor will ring you back. If you need to see a doctor you may be asked to go to the Out of Hours Primary Care Centre at Nottingham Emergency Services (NEMS), Platform 1, Station Street, Nottingham, NG2 3AJ.
For other general medical advice you can always contact the NHS 111 service if you urgently need medical help or advice but it’s not a life-threatening situation.
