First immunisations for babies are discussed as part of their 6-8 week GP check. Your Health Visitor (or Healthy Family Team member) can also provide information about this check and baby immunisations.
Babies are first immunised at 8,12 and 16 weeks of age
MMR vaccinations are generally given between 12 and 15 months of age
Pre-school boosters are given after 3 and a half years of age

All Teenage Immunisations are undertaken at school by the School Nursing Team. If you need further information regarding this, please contact your child’s school who can put you in touch with the School Nurses.
